Can be delivered as a one or two days on introduction or as a series of workshops over the year.

Included overview of survey types, why we need to do surveys, equipment, survey methods, identification, resources ad much more.

Introduction to Identifying Dragonfly Exuvia and Larvae

Can be delivered as a one or two day workshop. A specialist workshop that facilitates the identifying of dragonfly larvae and exuvia which can either be from samples provide by us or from collected samples from your site.

Introduction to Wildlife Surveys and Monitoring

 

Five day intensive and fully comprehensive course. We currently offer this course at Coed Phoenix Nature Reserve in Ceredigion but we may be able to run it at your site.

 

The  content is wide-ranging yet precise and includes Health and safety, legislation, species licenses, survey methods, Phase 1 habitat surveys, Preliminary ecological appraisals, Protected species surveys, equipment, planning surveys, survey types, resources, identification of species, practical sessions, indicator species, invertebrates, mammals, freshwater, botanical, bird, bat and much more.

 

The course provides a balance between theory and practical sessions and allows participants to access a wide range of resources including ecological equipment, specialist books and keys.
